A CNC milling machine is generally composed of several parts such as a CNC system, a main drive system, a feed servo system, and auxiliary devices.
(1) Main drive system. It is composed of the main shaft box, main shaft motor, main shaft and main shaft bearing and other parts. The spindle's start, stop and other actions and speed are controlled by the numerical control system, and the cutting is carried out by the tool mounted on the spindle.
(2) Feed servo system. It is composed of a servo motor and a feed actuator, and realizes the relative motion between the tool and the workpiece according to the feed speed set by the program, including linear feed motion and rotary motion.
(3) Numerical control system. It is the center of motion control of CNC milling machine, and it executes CNC machining program to control the machine tool for processing.
(4) Auxiliary device. It includes hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, cooling system, chip removal, protection and other devices.
(5) Machine tool basic parts. It usually refers to the base, column, beam, etc., which is the foundation and frame of the entire machine tool.
