Safety rules for milling machines

1. When loading and unloading workpieces, the cutting tool must be removed, and the cutting head and hands must not approach the milling surface.
2. When using the Xuzheng milling machine for tool alignment, it is necessary to move slowly or manually, and fast forward is not allowed. When moving the tool, no parking is allowed.
3. Pay attention to whether the handle of the Xuzheng milling machine will hit people when quickly advancing and retracting the tool.
4. Do not feed too fast or suddenly change gears. The limit stop of the Xuzheng milling machine should be adjusted properly.
5. The Xuzheng milling machine must be stopped when measuring the workpiece, adjusting the tool, and tightening the speed change.
6. When disassembling and assembling a vertical milling cutter, the workbench should be padded with wooden boards, and the milling cutter should be flattened and the nut should not be pulled too hard.
7. It is strictly prohibited to touch or wipe the rotating parts and cutting tools with cotton yarn, and it is prohibited to use hands to support the cutting disc.
In general, a chuck can only hold one workpiece at a time. Because a chuck clamps more than one workpiece at a time, even if it is tightly clamped, the force during rough cutting is very high, and the two workpieces can easily slide between them, leading to workpieces flying out, knife breakage, and personal injury accidents.
