1. Inching tool setting method
Press and hold the jog key on the control panel, lightly touch the tool tip to the surface of the workpiece (jog twice in the X and Z directions), clear the counter, and then return to the initial position to be set (X, Z Design initial value), and then clear it to obtain the initial position of the tool. The commonly used CNC machine tool tool setting method determines the initial position of each knife in turn, and then adjusts it to the accurate design position (starting point) after trial processing. This method does not require any auxiliary tools and can be operated easily, but it takes a long time, especially since the tool must be readjusted every time it is sharpened. This method is suitable for simple processes or initial installation and debugging.

2. Use the tool setting method
The optional tool setter of the machine tool uses a self-test device, but the operation of CNC machine tools is complex and requires a certain amount of preparation time. Suitable for use when measuring multiple tools.
3. Use CNC tools
After the tool is installed and positioned for the first time, it will wear out after a period of cutting and needs to be sharpened. When ordinary tools are reinstalled after sharpening, the position of the tool tip changes, and the tool needs to be recalibrated. The characteristic of CNC tools is that the tool manufacturing precision is high, and the repeated positioning accuracy after indexing of the blade is about 0.02mm, which greatly reduces the tool setting time. At the same time, the surface of the CNC machine tool blade is coated with a wear-resistant layer (SiC, TiC, etc.), so that Its durability is greatly improved (3 to 5 times), but the cost is higher.
