Product Introduction

The Double Column CNC Milling Machine performs both rough and fine milling of workpieces. The numerical control system manages the size settings for processing, with automatic measurement and automatic roughing and finishing of both sides. This reduces the work intensity for operators, improves processing efficiency, and ensures the flatness and smoothness of the processed parts.

 

Also known as the gantry CNC milling machine, it comes in various models: YMC-1210, YMC-1310, YMC-1611, YMC-1612, YMC-2215, YMC-2616, and YMC-3020. Different sizes are available to meet your needs. You can choose between a 3-axis linear guide, an XY-axis linear guide, and a Z-axis box-shaped guide. CNC controllers from FANUC, Mitsubishi, Siemens, FOGOR, Heidenhain, TAIWAN LNC, and SYNTEC can be used accordingly. Additionally, 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis configurations are optional.

Strong Cutting Capacity

► The machine is equipped with a 7:24 Taper No.50 Spindle and P4 grade angular ball bearings. The spindle speed can reach 6000 rpm, with a full gear spindle and a 2-speed gearbox optional for heavy-duty machining. The machine can provide sufficient power and torque output for various cutting processes by adopting a Japanese FANUC α series spindle motor or Mitsubishi/Siemens spindle motor.

Excellent Structural Strength

► A heavy and strong machine is absolutely essential for a gantry machining center. Made of high-quality Meehanite casting iron GC-276 and tempered for durability, MAXTORS CNC machines boast high rigidity and admirable stability.

► The structure size, optimized through finite element analysis (FEA), offers excellent static rigidity and shock resistance, preventing cutting resonance. This enhances processing accuracy and prolongs tool service life.

Highly Applicable Spindle Box

► The spindle box is designed with the most suitable rectangular ratio of cross-section modulus coefficient, ensuring excellent processing rigidity when the Z-axis reaches maximum travel.

► Inside the spindle box, interlayers with circular arc ribs strengthen the structural body, providing the machine with optimal dynamic rigidity and stability during rapid feeding and heavy cutting.

Advanced Control System

► The standard advanced FANUC or MITSUBISHI controller provides the machine with stable and high-efficiency numeric control.

► The machine can be optionally equipped with a more powerful functional controller and a more precise closed-loop controller unit as requested to meet different demands.
